Instructions
1) Age limit- Not more than 38 years (Relaxation as per rule for SC/NT and other categories). 2) Candidates should apply giving full details in the prescribed proforma enclosed. The application should be addressed to the Principal Investigator, NICRA, College of Forestry, Dapoli, Dist. Ratnagiri, Maharashtra – 415712 3) The envelope should be superscribed as Application for the post of Senior Research Fellow in NICRA project at College of Forestry, Dapoli on 15 /09/2023 upto 9.30 am. 4) Applications received after 9.30 am will not consider. Attendance of the candidate will be taken at 9.30 am. 5) The eligible candidates will be interviewed by selection committee. 6) All certificates will have to be produced in original at the time of interview. 7) No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates appearing for interview. 8) The selected candidates will be required to give an undertaking on stamp paper worth Rs.100/- that he/she will not leave job during the appointment period and shall complete the assignment and he/she will not claim for appointment on regular basis. 9) The candidates will be appointed for 11 months period (or less than that asper project duration). 10) Candidates should note that they should submit application to the office of College of Forestry, DBSKKV, Dapoli and interview will be conducted in the office of College of Forestry, DBSKKV, Dapoli. 11) The candidate will have no any claim for his/her continuation of service as well as claim for appointment on regular establishment in the services of Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli. 12) The candidate will have to give one month advance notice if he/she desires to leave the job failing which, he/she have to surrender one month salary. 13) The University reserves the right to reject one or all the applications at its discretion without any reasons thereof. 14) The appointment as well as any claims for payment will be co-terminus with operation of scheme. 15) As this scheme is research oriented, the selected candidate should render his/her services with due responsibility and give the results of scheme as well as all other information as per the requirements of scheme to concerned agency/office and as per directives from the university. 16) The candidate has to submit no objection certificate with the application from present employer in case he/she is already in service. 17) Misconduct or misbehavior in any manner may result into cancellation of candidature. 18) This university will not be responsible for any postal delay. 19) Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post.

The Konkan region is distinguished from the rest of Maharashtra State by virtue of its disitinct agroclimatic conditions, soil types, topography, its location between the Sahyadri ranges and the Arabian sea, crops and cropping pattern, land holdings, and socio-economic conditions of the farmers. As such, the problems in agriculture and allied sectors are also entirely different from the other parts of Maharashtra. Due to this uniqueness, the Government of Maharashtra established the Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth on the 18th May 1972 to impart education, conduct research on location specific problems and disseminate the improved crop production technologies amongst the farming community. The university was renamed as Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli on 12th February 2001.
