Vice Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi officially assumed the role of Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff. Earlier he was serving as the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Naval Command. Vice Admiral Tripathi joined the Indian Navy on 1 July 1985. Presently the Chief of the Indian Naval Staff is Admiral R. This is Hari Kumar.

Uttar Pradesh State Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra inaugurated ‘Rahat Vani Kendra’ (RVC), an observatory for early disaster warning. Its objective is to provide early disaster warning, forecasting, ensure timely relief delivery and direct benefit transfer of compensation to the victims. It has been set up in Lalbagh area of Lucknow where a team of six personnel is working.

Reliance Industries Limited’s (RIL) Jamnagar Refinery has become the first refinery in India to produce ISCC-Plus certified chemically recycled polymers. RIL’s Jamnagar Refinery located in the state of Gujarat has now become ISCC-Plus certified. ISCC Plus is an internationally recognized certification.
5. (d) Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary
The Ministry of Tourism has included Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary in the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme. Swadesh Darshan Program was started in the year 2015 by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, which is a 100% centrally funded scheme. Debrigadh Wildlife Sanctuary is located near Hirakud Dam (Mahanadi River) in Bargarh district of Odisha.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated the five-day winter carnival in Manali. He also inaugurated the cultural program at Manu Rangashala, the stage of the five-day festival. There will be presentations of 25 cultural groups from different states in the carnival.
