Bhajan Lal Sharma has been elected the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan. BJP had registered a landslide victory in the recently concluded assembly elections. Bhajan Lal Sharma is originally from Bharatpur. He has been working in the organization for a long time. He was also the state general secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party four times. 56-year-old Sharma has become MLA for the first time from Sanganer Assembly of Jaipur.

Veteran lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar will be honored with the Padmapani Lifetime Achievement Award at the Ajanta-Ellora Film Festival. He is being given this award for his contribution to the Indian film industry. He is the co-writer of classic Hindi cinema films like “Zanjeer”, “Deewar”, “Sholay”, “Don”, “Kala Patthar” and “Mr. India”. Ajanta-Ellora Film Festival was earlier known as Aurangabad International Film Festival.

Nikhil Dey has been named as International Anti-Corruption Champion by USA. The United States Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs gave this honor to Indian social activist Nikhil Dey. Nikhil is also the co-founder of ‘Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan’ in India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) summit at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The Parliament of Poland has elected Donald Tusk as Prime Minister. Tusk came to power after the coalition’s victory in the elections held two months ago. 248 parliamentary votes were cast in support of Tusk in the 460-seat lower house of parliament. Poland is a Central European country, its capital is Warsaw.

Indian Armed Forces contingent has reached Hanoi for the joint military exercise ‘VINBAX-2023’. The fourth edition of WinBEX is being organized in Hanoi, Vietnam. Winbax exercise is conducted between India and Vietnam. This time this exercise is being organized from 11 to 21 December 2023. The practice ‘Winbax’ was started in the year 2018.
