1. (d) From rooftop solar panels

Recently PM Modi launched Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana. This is a centrally sponsored scheme, under which rooftop solar panels will be installed on more than 1 crore houses, with the help of which people will get a clean source of energy. The objective of this scheme launched by the Prime Minister is to include poor and middle class persons under the rooftop solar program. Also its objective is to bring self-reliance in the energy sector.  

2. (b) 60 Parachute Field Hospital (UP)

60 Parachute Field Hospitals of Uttar Pradesh have been selected for the Subhash Chandra Bose Disaster Management Award for the year 2024 for their excellent work in the field of disaster management. The Union Home Ministry announced this recently. Under this award, the winning organization in the institutional category is awarded a cash prize of Rs 51 lakh and a certificate. In case of an individual, Rs 5 lakh in cash and a certificate is provided.

The Ministry of Mines has decided to send an Indian industry delegation to the African country Zambia to pursue potential copper exploration and mining projects in the African country. Copper is a chemical element with a characteristic reddish-brown color. The South American country Chile is the top copper producing country in the world.

Chinese Taipei’s legendary badminton player Tai Tzu Ying displayed a brilliant game and won the India Open 2024 women’s singles title. Tai Tzu Ying defeated China’s Chen Yu Fei in the final. The final of India Open 2024 was played at KD Jadhav Indoor Hall, New Delhi.  

6. (a) Gujarat

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel recently laid the foundation stone of Khodaldham Trust Cancer Hospital in Rajkot. It is being constructed by Shri Khodaldham Trust (SKT), Rajkot. Earlier, PM Modi had virtually addressed the foundation stone laying ceremony of the hospital.

In India, every year on 23 January, the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is celebrated as ‘Parakram Diwas’. The Central Government had announced to celebrate this day in the year 2021. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the Valor Day celebrations at the Red Fort on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Along with this, PM Modi will also inaugurate the nine-day program ‘Bharat Parv’.
