The market capitalization of the giant technology company Microsoft has crossed $3 trillion. Microsoft is the second company to touch this figure after iPhone maker Apple. Currently Apple is the most valuable company in the world.

This year, French President Emmanuel Macron is attending the Republic Day celebrations on the path of duty as the chief guest. This is the sixth time that a French leader has been invited as the chief guest. It is noteworthy that India is celebrating its 75th Republic Day this year. Last year, Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi attended as the chief guest.

Zydus Lifesciences has recently received final approval from the US health regulator ‘USFDA’ for the marketing of a generic drug related to postherpetic neuralgia. Under this, the company will be able to produce and market Gabapentin tablets. Zydus is the first Indian company to get this right for Gabapentin tablets.

President of India Draupadi Murmu inaugurated ‘Kaushal Bhawan’, a new building of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in New Delhi. This new building is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure. Union Minister of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan was also present on this occasion.
7. (a) Oman
The Union Cabinet has recently approved the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Gulf country Oman for cooperation in the field of information technology. This MoU has been made for a period of 3 years. Under this, both ‘G2G’ and ‘B2B’ bilateral cooperation will be increased.
