Eligibility
Criteria

1. A University in the Inter University Tournament conducted by the Inter University Sports Board; and/ or 2. A combined University team in the National and World University/International competition; and/ or 3. AState in theNational competition; and / or 4. The country in any International competition Note: The Certificate for representing a University in the Inter-University or a State in India in a National or for representing India in an International competition in one of the recognized Games/Sports will be valid only when signed by the Dean/Director orthe officer overall in-chargeofsportsin the university orthe Secretary ofthe State Association orthe Secretary, National Federation/National Association respectively. 1. Application should be neatly typed /filled in the prescribed format in A-4 Size paper 2. Self-Attested Xerox copies of all the required documents in support of Age, Qualification, Sports Achievement, Caste, etc. are to be attached with application form. Sports Certificates should be submitted in the respective Form (Form 1/2/3/4/5) 3. Applications complete in all respects & duly signed by the Applicant be placed in a sealed envelope. Envelope shall be super-scribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSTT. GRADE III (GENERAL) UNDER SPORTS QUOTA”. The envelope containing the application along with supporting documents be sent by registered post to: Secretary, ZSPC FOOD CORPORATION OF INDIA, ZONAL OFFICE (WEST), FCI, NEW BUILDING, RAJENDRA NAGAR, DATTAPADA ROAD, BORIVALI (EAST), MUMBAI – 400066. 4. The applications should reach at above address by 01.03.2024. For candidates belonging to UT of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh, Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, TripuraStates, last date forreceipt of applicationswill be 08.03.2024. Applicationsreaching beyond the above-mentioned datesshall not be accepted. 5. The Corporation shall not be responsible for postal delay or delay due to any other reason. 6. The decision of FCI in all matters related to acceptance or rejection of the application, mode of selection etc. will be final and binding upon the candidates. 7. Selected candidates will be governed by Rules and Regulations of FCI. 8. Selected candidates will have to execute a bond amount of Rs 100,000 /- (or Rupees One lac only) or serve the Corporation for the minimum period of three years. 9. The Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications, without assigning any reason. 10. The seniority of the Officials, appointed in the services of FCI within the Zone in the General cadre , as FCI rules and regulations. 11. Employees of the Central / State Govt. / Public Sector Undertakings may note that they will have to produce the ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employer at the time of his/her document verification stage. Employees of the Central/ State Govt. / Public Sector Undertakings and Departmental candidates (FCI Employee) will be allowed to join the Corporation only on producing vigilance clearance from their employer. It is further clarified that in case the vigilance status is not clear, then his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled.

General
Instructions

1. Employees of the Central/State Govt./Public Enterprises should forward their applications ‘THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL’ to reach the Corporation before the last date notified below. Direct applicationsshall not be entertained. In case of candidates already working with Central and State Govt./PSU of State and Central Govt.shall produce NOC ifselected. 2. The Corporation may, at its discretion, relax qualification and age in appropriate cases in accordance with the rules. 3. Mere submission of an application and fulfilling the eligibility criteria gives no right to any person for interview/selection. 4. All appointments will be subject to the Rules and Regulations of the Corporation and/or directives of Govt. of India, in force from time to time. 5. The posts carry IDA pattern pay scales and usual allowances such as HRA, other allowances (such as Dress Allowance, Lunch Allowance, Children Education Allowance, Entertainment Allowance etc) to the tune of 32% of the Basic Salary under Cafeteria Approach etc. These scales carry DA on percentage basis. Gross emoluments would vary depending upon place of posting. Other benefits like CPF, Gratuity, Leave Travel Concessions, Leave Encashment, Medical-reimbursement, Pension etc., shall be applicable as per the rules of the Corporation as amended from time to time. 6. Self-attested photocopies of all documents in respect of proof of age, qualification, Sports achievements experience, caste, etc. should be attached with the application. Original Certificates would be required for scrutiny at the time of verification as per the Govt. of India format, as per applicability. 7. Any attempt to influence the corporation in any manner would disqualify the candidature and leadto rejection of his application. 8. No correspondence will be entertained about the outcome ofthe application. 9. Candidates should satisfy themselves that they fulfil the required eligibility, educational qualification, age, etc. before applying forthe same 10.
