Applications will be received ON-LINE ONLY. The Candidates should register their application on-line at https://www.prl.res.in/OPAR. The link for receipt of online application will be active from 09.03.2024 (10.00 Hrs.) to 31.03.2024 (24.00 Hrs.). Upon registration and successful submission of application, applicant will be provided with an on-line Registration Number (downloadable filled-in application) through email which should be carefully preserved for future reference. A valid Email ID & Mobile number of the applicant will have to be given in the application compulsorily. Hall tickets/ Call letters for written test/skill test for those who will be screened-in/shortlisted, will be sent through email only and no hard copy will be sent. Candidates are advised to check all the fields entered by them online before submitting their applications. Candidates should avoid submission of multiple applications for the same post. SC/ST/OBC Candidates: Caste certificate in the prescribed proforma for Central Govt. Jobs, issued by appropriate Authority. PwBD Candidates: PwBD certificate (40% and above disability) in the prescribed proforma issued by appropriate Authority/Medical Board. Copy of Caste / PwBD certificate formats are available at PRL website at www.prl.res.in (OpportunitiesJob vacancies) Ex-serviceman Candidates: Self attested copy of discharge certificate.

Instructions

No Objection Certificate: Candidates who are employed under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies etc. have to submit `No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned, at the time of Skill Test or as and when called for. However, the candidate should apply for the post only under intimation to and with the prior permission of the employer. A candidate who may gain/change employment after applying for the post, is required to inform the employer the particulars of his/her application and shall mandatorily submit NOC at the time of Skill Test. Any candidate, who fails to submit NOC in original at the time of Skill Test, shall not be permitted to appear in the Skill Test and TA will not be paid. Rounding – off of marks is NOT allowed. In case the marks obtained are in the form other than percentage or 10- Page 7 of 19 point CGPA, please convert them into percentage and the formula of conversion should be certified by the Head of the Institution /University/Board or should be mentioned in the mark-sheet. It is for candidates to ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria and the instructions contained in this advertisement and in the online application form are adhered to/complied with. Candidates are, therefore, urged to carefully read the advertisement and complete the online application form and submit the same as per instructions given in this regard. Applications that are not in conformity with the requirements indicated in this advertisement and incomplete applications will not be entertained. Caste/Category declared by the candidate in the application such as OBC/SC/ST/EWS will be considered as final and no change in the same will be entertained. Selected candidate will be posted to work at any office of Physical Research Laboratory or its observatories at Udaipur / Mt. Abu and is liable to be transferred to work anywhere in India, in the interest of PRL. Candidates called for skill test will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their applications submitted on-line. If any information furnished on-line is found to be wrong, false or not substantiated with appropriate documentary evidence, the candidate will not be eligible for skill test and No TA will be paid. The candidates registered under National Career Services (NCS) portal and fulfilling the eligibility conditions may visit PRL website and follow the application procedure as stated. Only Indian nationals need apply. The number of vacancies indicated is provisional. PRL reserves the right not to fill up some or all the posts, if it so decides No interim correspondence will be entertained with the candidates who are not screened in for test/appointment. Candidates may appear for the written test in Hindi in case they prefer so PRL STRIVES TO HAVE A WORKFORCE WHICH REFLECTS GENDER BALANCE AND WOMEN CANDIDATES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY. CANVASSING IN ANY FORM WILL BE A DISQUALIFICATION.
