The SBI PO exam is divided into three tiers – Prelims, Mains, and Group Discussion, and PI. Having said that, the prelims exam is 100 marks and the main exam is 200 marks. Group Discussion and Personal Interview carries 50 marks in total.
Prelims exam consist of three sections – English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The English Language section carries a maximum weightage of 30 marks, whereas the Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability consist of 35 marks each. Being said that, you get a total of 60 minutes to solve 100 marks prelims paper.
The Mains Exam consists of five different sections – Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis and Interpretation, General Awareness, English Language, and Descriptive Test. The Reasoning and Computer Aptitude and Data Analysis and Interpretation section consist of 60 marks each. On the other hand, General Awareness and English Language section consist of 40 marks each.
