SSC MTS Recruitment for 12523 Vacancies to be Out on June 30, 2023, at ssc.nic.in
On June 30, 2023, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will issue SSC MTS Notification 2023, announcing vacancies for SSC MTS Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) and Multi Tasking Staff. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is holding the SSC MTS 2023 Exam (Multitasking Staff) to hire candidates for different jobs such as:
- Havaldar
- Peon
- Daftary
- Jamadar
- Junior Gestetner Operator
- Chowkidar
- Safaiwala
- Mali etc.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts a national-level exam to choose candidates for General Central Service Group-C non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts in various ministries, divisions, and offices of the Government of India. Candidates selected for multi-tasking staff positions are paid at Pay Level 1 according to the Pay Matrix of the 7th Pay Commission, with basic pay of Rs. 5,200-20,200 + Grade Pay of Rs.1,800. The SSC will hold the SSC Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2023, which would provide career possibilities for 10th pass applicants.
Exam Date for SSC MTS 2023:
According to the SSC Calendar 2023, the tier 1 examination for the SSC MTS 2023 exam will be held in September 2023 in several shifts around the country. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will officially declare the SSC MTS Exam Date 2023.
SSC MTS Recruitment 2023 (Revised):
Along with the SSC MTS Recruitment 2023 Notification, SSC MTS & Havaldar Vacancy 2023 will be announced. Staff Selection Commission has issued a total of 12523 openings for the fiscal year 2022-23, including 11994 Multi Tasking Staff and 529 Havaldar jobs in CBIC and CBN.
Online SSC MTS 2023 Application:
The SSC MTS 2023 Online Application procedure will begin with the issuance of the SSC MTS Notification 2023 in the third week of June 2023. Fee for SSC MTS 2023 Application:
SSC MTS 2023 Application Fee is Rs. 100/-
Candidates who are SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen are excused from paying the application fee. Furthermore, female candidates are excused from paying the application cost for the SSC MTS 2023 exam.
Criteria for SSC MTS 2023 Eligibility:
In order to be eligible for the SSC MTS 2023 Exam, a candidate must meet three major criteria. Before applying for the SSC MTS Exam, candidates should be aware of the minimum necessary Eligibility Criteria in terms of nationality, academic qualification, and age restriction. Let’s take a closer look at these three criteria:
SSC MTS Citizenship:
A candidate is required to be
A citizen of India
The subject of Nepal
The subject of Bhutan
Tibetan Refugee
Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afghanistan, Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam.
SSC MTS Age Limit:
The age limits for the posts as per the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments are:
i) A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age, candidates born not before 02-01-1999 and not later than 01-01-2006.
ii) 18-27 years, the candidates born not before 02-01-1997 and not later than 01-01-2006.
Apart from the pre-mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation as per Government Rules.
Havaldar Age Limit
A candidate must be of a minimum of 18 years of age and must not exceed 27 years of age, candidates born not before 02-01-1996 and not later than 01-01-2006 are eligible to apply for Havaldar in CBIC and CBN, Department of Revenue.
SSC MTS Educational Qualification:
A candidate is required to pass Matriculation (10th class) or its equivalent Exam from a recognized State Board, University, or Institute to be eligible to apply for SSC MTS 2023 Exam.
SSC MTS 2023 Selection Process:
The eligible candidates for SSC Multi Tasking Staff recruitment will be shortlisted on the basis of three stages. A candidate needs to qualify in each stage with marks more than the cut-off announced. The three stages to be cleared are as below-
Stage 1- Paper-1 (Objective)
Stage 2- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the post of Havaldar)
