UIIC Administrative Officer (AO) 2024 Selection Procedure:
The selection process involves an Online Examination followed by an Interview, with the final decision based on overall performance.
b. The candidates will be called for Online Examination which would comprise of the following.

Duration: The exam duration is 2 hours.
Exam Format and Penalties:
- All questions will be of objective type with multiple-choice answers.
- Candidates are required to select the correct answer by ‘mouse click’.
- There will be a penalty for incorrect answers. One fourth of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Unanswered questions will not attract any penalty.
- Except for the English Language test, all other tests will be bilingual (in English and Hindi).
Scoring Procedure:
- Corrected Score Calculation: The number of questions answered correctly in each section is considered. Penalty for wrong answers is applied, and the corrected scores are calculated.
- Equating Scores: Corrected Scores are equated to compensate for minor differences in difficulty levels between different test sessions. Equated Scores are derived to standardize scores across different test forms.
- Reporting of Scores: Test-wise scores and the overall total score are reported with decimal points up to two digits.
The equating process ensures fairness by standardizing scores across different test forms to account for variations in the difficulty levels of different exam sessions.
Educational Qualifications: As of 31.12.2023, candidates should hold a degree with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST Category) from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government. The educational background should align with the appropriate pattern, such as 10+2+3 or its equivalent. Additionally, proficiency in computer usage is mandatory.
Age Criteria: Applicants should fall between the age range of 21 to 30 years as of 31.12.2023, with relaxation in the upper age limit available for various categories including SC/ST, OBC, Persons with Benchmark Disability, Ex-Servicemen, Defence service personnel disabled in operation, Widows, Divorced women, women legally separated from their husbands, and existing confirmed employees of Public Sector General Insurance Companies.
Emoluments and Benefits: Selected candidates will receive a basic pay in the scale of Rs. 50925-2500(14)-85925-2710(4)-96765, along with other applicable allowances. Benefits encompass Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Performance Linked Incentive (PLI), National Pension System (NPS), and leased accommodation, as per the company’s rules. At Metropolitan centers, the approximate gross pay will be Rs. 88,000/- per month.
